Explanation:

By snell's law we know

N1 sin theta 1 = N2 sin theta 2

Theta 1 is the angle of incident = 35

Where theta 2 is angle of refraction

and n1 refractive index of 1st median(air) =1

Given N2 =1.33

(1.33) (Sin theta 2) = (1)sin 35

Sin theta 2 = (sin 35)/1.33

 = theta = \sin {}^{ - 1} ( \frac{ \sin(35) }{1.33} )

The angle of refraction is

 \sin { }^{ - 1} ( \frac{ \sin(35) }{1.33} )
