ô=360°-2θ
⇒300°=360°-2θ
⇒θ=30°
∴no of images formed is
n=(360°/θ)-1
⇒n=(360°/30°)-1
⇒n=11
∴ no of images formed =11

Number of observable images are 11.

Given:

The deviation is of 300 degrees for the ray after reflection from two plane mirrors.

Solution:

Inclination Angle of the two mirrors is at a certain angle.

Formula for deviation = 360-2 \theta

Deviation = 300

\begin{array}{l}{300=360-2 \theta} \\ {\theta=\frac{60}{2}} \\ {\theta=30 \text { degree.}}\end{array}

The number of images = \left(\frac{360}{\theta}\right)-1

Number of images = \left(\frac{360}{30}\right)-1

Number of images = 12 – 1 = 11.
