a rctangular plywood measures 2.1m by 70cm. circular disc are to be cut outfrom the plywood of diameter 14cm how many disc can be cut and how much plywood will be left​

Breadth of rectangle= 70 cm

area of rectangle = length × width

= 210× 70

= 14700 cm square

Diameter of disc = 14 cm

Radius of disc= 14÷2=7 cm

Area of Circle=πr square

=22/7×7×7

=154 cm square

Number of disc= area of rectangle/ area of disc

= 14700/154

= 951050/11

Therefore 95 discs can be cut

area of 95discs = 95×154=14630 cm square

area of plywood left= 14700-14630= 70 cm square
