Breadth of rectangle = 30 m

Area of rectangle = L*B= 50*30= 1500 sq mArea of paths =

(50*2)+(30*2)= 100 + 60= 160 sq mArea of the common portion in the middle =2*2= 4 sq mArea of the paths - 160 - 4= 156 sq

mArea of the portion in which grass is to be laid = 1500 sq m - 156 sq m= 1344 sq

mCost of laying the grass Rs. 25 per sq m= 1344*25

Cost of paving the path = Rs. 2 per sq m= 156*2= Rs. 312

Total cost of laying grass and paving paths Rs. 33600 + Rs. 312 == Rs. 33912
