Answer:

Loss percentage = 6.25%

Step-by-step explanation:

selling price of each site = rs. 18000

so total selling price of 2 sites = 2 x 18000 = 36000

let cost price of 1st site be x

gain = 25%

so x + ( 25/100 ) x = 18000

so x + (x/4) = 18000

so 5x / 4 = 18000

x = 18000 * 4/5

= 14400

let cost price of second site be y

loss = 25%

so y - ( 25/100 )y = 18000

so y - (y / 4) =  18000

so 3y/4 = 18000

so y = 18000 * 4/3

= 24000

total cost price = 24000 + 14400 = 38400

loss = cost price - selling price = 38400 - 36000 = 2400

loss % = ( loss / cost price ) * 100

= ( 2400/38400 ) * 100

= 2400/384

= 6.25%

so loss percentage = 6.25%
