Answer:

Gain% = 4.65%

Step-by-step explanation:

here, total S.P of both sites = ₹ (18,000 + 18,000)

                                          = ₹36,000

now, S.P of 1st site = ₹18,000        and    Gain% = 25%

=> C.P of 1st site = 100 x S.P/ (100 + gain%)

=> C.P of 1st site = ₹100 x 18,000/100 + 25

=> C.P of 1st site = ₹18,00,000/125

=> C.P of 1st site = ₹14,400

now, S.P of 2nd site = ₹18,000      and    Loss% = 10%

=> C.P of 2nd site = 100 x S.P/ (100 - loss%)

=> C.P of 2nd site = ₹100 x 18,000/100 - 10

=> C.P of 2nd site = ₹18,00,000/90

=> C.P of 2nd site = ₹20,000

so, total C.P of both sites = ₹ (14,400 + 20,000)

                                      = ₹34,400

here, S.P > C.P

so, here is gain = ₹36,000 - ₹34,400

                        = ₹1,600

Gain% = gain x 100/C.P

          = (1,600 x 100/34,400) %

          = (1,60,000/34,400)%

          = 4.65%

∴here is gain of 4.65%.
