  • An ideal gas is a gas that follows the ideal gas law: PV = nRT, where
    P = pressure
    V = volume
    n = amount of substance
    R = ideal gas constant
    T = temperature
  • This means that ideal gas is a gas in which there is no attraction between the molecules usually
  • Boyle's law is a special case of ideal gas law that has n, R, and T constant. Therefore, We get PV = a constant, and thus P is inversely proportional to V
