Step-by-step explanation:

1 tsp mustard seeds

3 c TS

1.5 c CS

3.25 c Beans

a) Now 2 c of TS. equating the ratios we get the new weight,

For mustard seeds,

(x tsp)/(1 tsp) = 2c/3c

x= 2/3 tsp of mustard seeds

now for CS

(x c)/(1.5 c) = 2c/3c

x = 1.5*2/3 = 1 c

now for beans

(x c)/(3.25 c) = 2c/3c

x = 3.25*2/3 = 13/6 c

b) similarly now chopped scallion is changed to 1c.

equate the ratios as done above for the other cases.
