A recipe of suji halwa uses 200g of sugar for every 250g of suji. If the total weight of suji and sugar is 1125g, find the amount of sugar and suji in the mixture.

Let quantity be x

:. 250x + 200x = 1125

:.450x = 1125

:.x = 1125/450

:. x = 2.5

quantity of suji = 250 * 2.5

                       =625g

:.quantity of sugar = 200 * 2.5 = 500g
