1/4 cup of oil for 2/3 cup of water,

1 cup of water = 2/3 + 1/3 = 3/3 = 1

∴ Total oil required = 1/4 + (1/4)*(1/8)

= 1/4 + 1/32 = (8+1)/32 = 9/32 cups of water
