Area of the rectangular part=(60×28)m²=1680 m²
BC=AD=28m
Radius of the semicircle=28/2=14 m
Area of the semicircular part=πr²/2
=(22/7×14×14)/2=308 m²
Area of the plot=Area of the rectangular part+Area of the semicircular part
=1680+308=1988 m²

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Length =60m

breadth =28m

area of a rectangle =Length×Breadth

=60m×28m

=1680m²

Now,

=diameter =28m

=radius =28/2=14m

= area of a semicircle=πr²

=22/7×14×14/2

=44×14/2

=308m²

=area of a plot =area of a rectangular part+ area of a semicircle

=1680m²+308m²

=1988m²
