base is 10 cm
rectangles base will also be 10 cm(because same base)
so
perimeter=36 cm
2(l+b)=36
2(10+b)=36
10+b=36/2
b=18-10
b=8
So area of rectangle=8 x 10=80cm^2
area of paralellogram=area of rectangle (because they are on same base and between same parallel)
area of paralellogram=80cm^2
