rectangle's length=12cm

                   breadth=a

                   area=96

square's sides=?

area of the rectangle= length×breadth

                               96=12×a

                               \frac{96}{12}= a

                            ⇒a=8

therefore the breadth of the rectangle is 8cm

perimeter of the rectangle= 2(8+12)

                                           =2×20

                                           =40

total perimetere of the square= 40 cm

perimeter of square= 4×y

                            40=4×y

                             \frac{40}{4}=y

                           ⇒y=10cm

THEREFOR EACH SIDE IS 10 CM
