Area = Length x Breadth = l x b = 120 sq. mts

Perimeter = 2 x (l+b) = 46 Mts

So l+b=23 Mts .... b = 23-l

Therefore l x (23-l) = 120 .... 23 l- l^2 = 120

l^2 - 23 l + 120 =0

(l-15) (l-8) = 0

l= 15 or 8

b = 23-15 or 23-8 ... 15 or 8

Length = 15 Mts

Breadth = 8 Mts

Diagonal = Root of (15^2 + 8^2) = Root of (225+64) = Root of (289) = 17
