a rectangle hall is 16m long and 12m wide . How many marble slabs of size 25×15cm are needed to cover the hall.​

area of rectangular hall = 16m × 12m = 1600cm × 1200 cm

Area of a marble slab = 25 cm × 15 cm

number of marbles required to cover the hall= (1600 cm × 1200 cm) ÷ (25 cm × 15cm) = 5120 marbles
