Since

Perimeter of a rectangle =2(l+b)
Gn that
2(3.6+b)=16.8
ie
3.6+b=8.4
ie
b=8.4-3.6= 4.8

Therefore Width of the rectangle =4.8

perimeter of rectangle=2*(length+width)
16.8=2(3.6+width)
width=8.4-3.6=4.8in
