a rectangle has a perimeter of 58cm . the diffrence between its length breadth is 12cm . find its length breadth​

l-12 =b

Perimeter=2(l+b)

58/2=l+b=29

Let l be x

And

B be y

x+y =29 and x-12 =y

y=29-x & y=x-12

∴29-x=x-12

2x = 29+12=41

Therefore x=20.5= length

And y=x-12=20.5 - 12 ,=8.5= breadth

Hence proved
