Step-by-step explanation:

Let the original length be l and breadth be b

Given:- Perimeter=60

2(l+b)=60

l+b=30_____(1)

Now length is reduced to 7 and breadth is increased by 7 to make square

So l¹=l-7 and b¹=b+7

Since it's a square

l¹=b¹

l-7=b+7

l-b=14____(2)

(1)+(2)=> l+b+l-b=30+14

2l=44

l=22. Length=22cm

(1)-(2)=>l+b-l+b=30-14

2b=16

b=8. Breadth=8cm
