we know that ,
Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth
18 = 2x × x
18 = 2x^2
x^2 =18/2 =9
so, Length = 2x = 3× 2
= 6
Breadth = x = 3
Therefore, perimeter = 2(length + breadth)
= 2(6 +3 )
= 2×9
= 18
