Answer:

l=5.1 and b=4.4

Step-by-step explanation:

lb=22.44

(l+1.3)(b+1.3)=36.48

lb+1.3l+1.3b+1.69=36.48

1.3(l+b)=36.48-22.44-1.69

l+b=9.5   ====>   b=9.5-l

lb=22.44   ====>   l(9.5-l)=22.44   ===>    l^2-9.5l+22.44=0

l^2-5.1l-4.4l+22.44=0

l(l-5.1)-4.4(l-5.1)=0    ====>  (l-4.4)(l-5.1)=0    ====> l=4.4 and 5.1

when l=5.1  so b=4.4 (l>b possible)

when l=4.4 so b=5.1 (l<b not possible)
