A rectangle has an area of 24 cm square if its length is 8 centimetre write down its breadth in terms of X given that its perimeter is 20 cm from an equation in X and solve it.

area= 24
l×b=area
8×X=24
X=24/8=3

area of rectangle =lenght×breadth
24=8×breadth
breadth =3
now it's perimeter =20
2 (lenght+breadth)=20
2 (8+X)=20
8+X=10
X=2
