Breadth of rectangle = 45 cm

We know that area of rectangle =

So Area of rectangle =

$l \times b \\ = 50 \times 45 \\ = {2250 \: cm}^{2}$

Side of square = 48 cm

We know that area of square =

${(side)}^{2}$

So Area of square =

${(side)}^{2} \\ = {(48)}^{2} \\ = {2304 \: cm}^{2}$

Area od square is greater than area of rectangle by 54 cm².
