Answer -

Length of rectangle = 50 cm

Breadth of rectangle = 45 cm

We know that area of rectangle =

l \times b

So Area of rectangle =

l \times b \\  = 50 \times 45 \\  =  {2250 \: cm}^{2}

Side of square = 48 cm

We know that area of square =

 {(side)}^{2}

So Area of square =

 {(side)}^{2}  \\  =  {(48)}^{2} \\  =  {2304 \: cm}^{2}

Area od square is greater than area of rectangle by 54 cm².
