area of rectangle=l*b
=50*45=225cmsq
area of square=asq
=48*48=2304
hence area of square is more than the area of rectangle that is 2304 -225 is equals to 2079

Area of rectangle = length × b.

= 50 cm × 45 cm

= 2250 sq.cm

Area of square = side × side

= 48 cm × 48 cm

= 2304sq.cm

Area of square is more than area of rectangle by 54sq.cm
