ANSWER:

  • Perimeter of rectangle> perimeter of square.

GIVEN:

  • Length of rectangle = 50 cm
  • Side of square = 20 m

TO FIND:

  • Which have more perimeter.

SOLUTION:

Area of rectangle = Area of square (given)

here:

length of rectangle is 50 cm = 50/100 = 0.5 m

Let the breadth of rectangle be x

Area of rectangle = (0.5)*x

Area of square = (20)*(20)

Now

=> (0.5)x=20*20

=> x = 400/0.5

=> x = 4000/5

=> x= 800 m

So breadth of rectangle = 800m

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

= 2(0.5+800)

=(800.5)*2

=1601 m

Perimeter of square = 4*(side)

=4(20)

=80m

Here

  • perimeter of rectangle> perimeter of square.
