Original breadth = a

Original length = 2a - 5

New length = 2a - 5 - 5 = 2a - 10

New breadth = a + 2

New perimeter = 2 (2a - 10 + a + 2) = 74

2(3a - 8) = 74

6a - 16 = 74

6a  = 90

a = 15

Original breadth = 15cm

Original length = 2a - 5 = 30 -5 = 25cm
