lol if it is given that it is a rectangle then there is no need to prove that it's diagonals are equal as diagonals of a rectangle are always equal but still if u wanna prove, so u can....
first diagonal = √(a^2 + b^2)
2nd one also = √(a^2 + b^2). [by formula of distance between two points]
