area of rectangle=area of square

l × b=S×S

l × 8=10×10

l=10×10/8

l=25/2

perimeter of rectangle=2×l+2×b

=2×25/2+2×8

=25+16

=41

answer \: is \: 41

hope it will help you

Given:

The length of the side of a square = 10 m

The breadth of the rectangle = 8 m

To find:

The perimeter of the rectangle.

Solution:

Let us first find the area of the square. The area of the square will be;

= 10 × 10 = 100 m²

If the area of the square is equal to the area of the rectangle, then:

Length × 8 = 100

Length = 12.5 m

Thus, the perimeter of the rectangle will be:

= 2 (length + breadth)

= 2(12.5 + 8)

= 2× 20.5

= 41 m

Therefore, the perimeter of the rectangle is 41 m.
