Answer: the answer is 8

Explanation: Side of sq= 80cm

Area of the sq.= s×s

80×80=1600cm.sq

Atq, area of sq= area of rect.

1600=200×b

1600 divided by 200= b

8cm= b

Given :-

  • Area of a square = Area of a rectangle
  • Side of square = 80cm
  • Breadth of rectangle = 200cm

To Find:-

  • Length of the rectangle = ?

Solution:-

First of all, we'll find the area of square as we know dimensions.

Area of square = (side)²

Area of square = (80)²

Area of square = 6400 cm²

Now,

Area of rectangle = length×breadth

Since, area of square = area of rectangle.........{Given}

So,

length × breadth = 6400 cm²

length × 200 cm = 6400 cm²

length = 6400/200

length = 64/2

length = 32 cm

Hence, Length of the given triangle is 32 cm.

Verification :-

Area of rectangle = 6400 cm²

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

Plug the values,

6400 = 32 × 200

6400 = 6400

LHS = RHS.

Hence verified.
