Answer:

Your answer is (4) 12 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(L + B)

Here,

L = 12cm

B = 6cm

now,

= 2(12 + 6)

= 2(18)

= 36 cm

Then they cut it half to form square so,

Perimeter of the square = 4 x S

S = L/2 = 6cm

now,

= 4 x 6

= 24 cm

Difference between both the perimeters = 36 - 24

 = 12 cm

Your answer is (4) 12 cm
