long =12.25 25%÷100%=0.25.

width 4.8 feet 20%÷100%=0.2.

0.25+12=12.25

There will be no change in the area of the rectangle.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

If length is increased by 25%

If breadth is decreased by 20%.

So, Net change in area of rectangle would be

+25-20-\dfrac{25\times 20}{100}\\\\=5-\dfrac{500}{100}\\\\=5-5\\\\=0%

Hence, there will be no change in the area of the rectangle.
