a rectangle is 25 cm long and 16 m broad.find the side of a square whose area is equal to the area of this rectangle

As we know that the area of rectangle and and square are equal so we find the area of rectangle.

Area of rectangle = length × breadth =(25×1600)cm^2= 40000cm^2

so the area of square is also 40000cm2

side^2 = area
side^2=40000cm2
side = 200cm
