Solution

Given :-

  • Length of rectangle = 25 m
  • Width of rectangle = 16 m

Condition :-

  • Area of square same the area of rectangle

Find :-

  • Side of square

Explanation

Using Formula

Area of Square = (Side)²

Area of rectangle = Length × Width

So, by Condition

==> Area of Square = Area of rectangle

==> (Side)² = Length × Width

Keep Value of Length & Width

==> (Side)² = 25 * 16

==> (Side) = √(25*16)

==> Side = √(5*5*4*4)

==> Side = 5 * 4

==> Side = 20 m

Hence

  • Side of Square be = 20 m

Answer:

Length of rectangle=25m

breath of rectangle=16m

area of rectangle= l×b

=25×16

=400m²

let side of square=a

area of square=area of rectangle

a²= 400m²

a =√400m²

a=20m

hence the side of square =20m
