Let breadth be x

So,according to question

Length=3x

Hence perimeter=2(x+3x)

=8x

But,

Given that perimeter is 56m

So,

8x=56

x=7

Therefore length=21m

Let breadth = b and length = 3b
Perimeter of rectangle = 56
2(l+b) = 56
2(3b + b) = 56
2(4b) = 56
8b = 56
b = 56/8
b = 7
l is 3 times of breadth.
l = 3 x 7
l = 21
