Step-by-step explanation:

l = 3p \: and \: b = 2p

(a) \: perimeter \: of \: the \: rectangle \:  = 2(l + b)

so..2(3p + 2p) \:  = 2 \times 5p \:  = 10p

(b)when \: p = 12 \: then \: perimeter \:is \:  \\ 3p = 3 \times 12 = 36  \\ 2p = 2 \times 12 = 24

 now \: perimeter \: is \:  \\ 2(l + b) = 2(36 + 24)  \\  =   2 \times 60 \\  = 120

where is ur ans...
