A rectangle is 5 cm wide and it area is 35 sq.cm. What is the perimeter of the rectangle?

Answer:

area of rectangle=35

let length of rectangle be x

5×x=35

x=7

so length of rectangle comes out to be 7

and width is given as 5

so perimeter=2(l+b)

=2(12)=24cm is ur answer
