A rectangle is attached to a square of side 6 cm. The smaller side of the rectangel is twice the side of square and the larger side is 3 times the side of the Square. Find area of the figure

breadth of the rectangle =2x =2(6)=12cm length of the rectangle=3x=3(6)=18cm area of the rectangle=length × breadth. = 12× 18 =216 sq.cm area of the figure = 36+ 216=252sq.cm
