where ,

b denotes base = length of rectangle

h denotes height = breadth of the rectangle

$\to \sf A=\dfrac{1}{2}\times l\times b\\\\\to \sf A=\dfrac{1}{2}\times (lb)$

From (1) ,

$\to \sf A=\dfrac{1}{2}\times (36)\\\\\leadsto \sf \pink{A=18\ cm^2}\ \; \bigstar$
