Given,

  • The Perimeter of Rectangle and Square is Same.
  • The Length = 16m
  • The Breadth = 4m

To Find,

  • The Area Of Square.

Solution,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( L+B )

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(16m+4m)

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(20m)

Perimeter of Rectangle = 40m •••(1)

Perimeter of Rectangle

= Perimeter of Square

40m = 4 × Side of Square

40m/4 = Side of Square

10m = Side of Square

Area of Square = Side × Side

Area of Square = 10m × 10m

Area of Square = 100m^2

Required Answer,

The Area Of Square = 100m^2
