Answer:

Area = l x b

300=lb

l=300/b

P=2(l+b)

70=2(l+b)

l+b=35

put. value of l

300/b+b=35

300+2b/b=35

300=35b-2b

300=33b

b=300/33 =9.09

l=300/9.09

=33.4

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter \: of \: rectangle = 2(length + breadth) = 70cm \\ l + b = 35   \:  \:  - (1)\\ area \: of \: rectangle = length \times breadth = 300 {cm}^{2}  \\ l \times b = 300 \: \:- (2)

from(1) \\ l = 35 - b \:  \:  - (3) \\ put \: eq.(3)in \: (2) \\ (35 - b)  \times \: b = 300 \\ 35b -  {b }^{2}  = 300

b = 15 \\ put \: in \: eq.(3) \\ l = 35 - 15 \\ l = 20 \\
