QUESTION-A rectangle is to be made with perimeter 100 metres and area 525 square metres what should be the length of its side? (4metres)

ANSWER-⤵⤵⤵

Here is your answer dear friend,

Area = 525m²

length x Breadth = 525

lxB = 525-----------------(1)

perimeter= 100m

2(l+B) = 100

l+B = 50

l = 50-B--------------------(2)

putting (2) in (1)

(50-B) B = 525

50B - B² = 525

0= B² -50B +525

0= B² -35B -15B +525

0 = B(B-35) -15(B-35)

0= (B-15)(B-35)

so,

B= 15 or 35

L = 35 or 15

so, the pair of sides can be=(15,35) (35,15)
