Given :

  • Length of breadth of rectangle = 4:3
  • Perimeter of the rectangle = 154 cm

To find :

  • The length of the breadth of the rectangle

Solution :

Let:-

  • Length = 4x
  • Breadth = 3x

We know that if we are given the perimeter of a rectangle then we can easily find the length and breadth of the rectangle using this formula:-

  • 2(L +B) = Perimeter

Here:-

  • L = Length
  • B = Breadth

Substituting the values:-

2(4x + 3x) = 154

2(7x) = 154

14x = 154

x = 154/14

x = 11

•°• the length of the rectangle = 4x = 44 cm

•°• the breadth of the rectangle = 3x = 33 cm
