Answer refference to above diagram

let quadrilateral ABCD is rectangle

In ∆ ADC ,

AD = 6cm

DC = 8cm

AC = ?

By Pythagoras Theorem,

( hypotenuse )² = ( height )² + ( base )²

AC ² = AD² + DC²

AC² = 6² + 8²

AC ² = 36 + 64

AC² = 100

AC = 10 ---------( taking square root of booth side )

therefore, The diagonal of the rectangle is 10 cm

Option C is correct
