length = 2.5 m
l = 2.5×100 = 250 cm
perimeter = 800 cm
let breadth be x
therefore,
2(l+b) = perimeter of rectangle
=> 2(250 + b) = 800
=> 500 + 2b = 800
=> 2b = 800 - 500
=> b = 300/2
=> b = 150 cm

breadth (x) = 150 cm or 1.5 m

hope it helps u..

Length = 2.5 m = 250cm
Breadth = x

Perimeter = 2(l +b)
800 = 2(250 + x)
800 = 500 + 2x
2x = 800 - 500
x = 300 /2
>150 cm\ 1.5 m
