A rectangle length is 5 cm less than twice it's width if length is decreased by 5cm and width is increased by 2cm the perimeter of the resulting rectangle will be 74cm find the original length and width of the original rectangle

let the width =x
length =2x-5cm

ATQ
2((2x-5-5)+(x+2))=74cm
2(2x-10+x+2)=74
6x-16=74
3x=74+16
x=90/3
x=30

length =2×30-5=55
