Let breadth be ' b'

Length of rectangle l =(2b-5) cm

if the length is decreased by 2cm then

perimeter of rectangle=74 cm

2(l+b) =74

l+b =37

2b-5-2+b=37

3b-7=37

3b=42

b=42/3=14 cm

length =2(14)-5

l =23 cm
