Answer:

it is easy

as perimeter is 2(l+b)

so 26=2(9+b)

26=18+2b

2b=26-18=8

b=8/2

b=4

width is 4

Answer :-

  • Width of Rectangle =  4 cm

Given :-

  • Length of Rectangle = 9 cm
  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 26 cm

To Find :-

  • Width of Rectangle =  ?

Explanation :-

Let the width of Rectangle to be 'x' cm.

\rm \implies \bold { Perimeter \: of \: Rectangle = 2(L+B) }

\rm \implies 2(L+B) = 26 \: cm

\rm \implies 2(9+x) = 26 \: cm

\rm \implies (9+x) = \dfrac{26}{2} \: cm

\rm \implies 9+x = 13 \: cm

\rm \implies x = (13 - 9) \: cm

\underline { \boxed { \rm \implies \bold { x = 4 \: cm }}}

Hence, the Width of the Rectangle is 4 cm.
