A rectangle of length 28 m long and 16 m broad. If the perimeter of the
rectangle and a square are the same, then find the side of the square.

Length of Rectangle = 28 m

Breadth of Rectangle = 16 m

Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square =

2 ( length + breadth )

2 ( 28 + 16 ) = 88 m

Now , perimeter of square = 4 × side = 88 m

=> side of rectangle = 88/4 = 22 m

Side of square = 22 m

2(28+16)=4*side

44=2*side
