area of path is  area of park with path - area of rectangular park

area of park =l x b= 45 x 30=1350 cm2

area of park with path is =45+2.5+2.5 x 30+2.5+2.5 = 1750cm2

area of path = 1750-1350=400 cm2

The number of rounds he should do to cover 5km long race =5

Steps

#It's rectangle hence 2l+2b

#Convert cm to m to both length and breadth

#The perimeter should come as 1000m

# 1km =1000m

# so 5 rounds around the park is 5km

The area of the park is l*b=350.75m*149.25m=5234.4375m^2
