A rectangle piece of paper 11cm×4cm is folded without overlapping to make Cylinder of height 4 cm . The volume of Cylinder so formed is?

So circumference of circular part of cylinder =2 pi r


So it is equal to length of paper (paper folded in shape of cylinder)


7=2 pi r

r=7/2 pi

Volume of cylinder = pi r² h

H=4cm

R=1.11cm


Volume = 3.14x(1.11)²x4=15.48cm³
