A rectangle's length is 5 cm less than twice it's width. If length is decreased by 5 cm and width by 2 cm the perimeter will be 74 cm. Find the original length and width

Let the width be x ,

Length = (2x-5)

B.T.P,

2(l + b) = 74

=> 2 [(2x-5) -5 + (x-2) ] = 74
